Welcome to the library in "Östra stallet", the Eastern stables. Beside the library you can visit the Antiquarian Topographical Archives and get help to search in the registers and databases of the National Heritage Board.

Vitterhetsakademiens bibliotek (the Library of the Royal Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities is part of Riksantikvarieämbetet (the National Heritage Board). It is a research library open to the general public. Read about loan services at the page 'Circulation services'.

The available digital resources in Östra stallet are catalogues, bibliographical databases, fact databases, fulltext databases, link collection, subject bibliographies etc. Digital resources are available via start menus at computers for visitors.

In addition services such as searching, ordering and borrowing books you can have lessons in library search systems or get tailor-made reference services.
