Gamla Uppsala Museum - opening hours
1 - 30 April Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays
and Sundays 12 - 4 pm.
1 May - 31 August Daily 10 am - 4 pm.
1 September - 31 October Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and
Sundays 12 noon - 4 pm.
The museum can receive groups during other times by special agreements. Call our booking service for information.
Address and travel directions
Disavägen, 754 40 Uppsala. From European road 4 (E4), you follow the road directions to Gamla Uppsala. You can also reach the museum from central Uppsala: Buses 2 and 110 (local bus company tel. + 46 18 65 99 00).

Group price (at least 15 persons) 50 SEK/person

Group tours
Exhibition tours (50 min): 850 SEK/guide + admission. Combined tour of exhibition and tour in site of ancient relics (80 min): 1300 SEK/guide + admission. Brief tour of exhibition (30 min): 650 SEK /guide + admission. We are happy to tailor to your distinct needs and also lease our facilities to special arrangements.
Accessibility for disabled
Gamla Uppsala Museum has a handicap WC and an elevator. Wheelchairs can be borrowed. Some parts of the exhibition are equipped with hearing loops.
Restaurant and café
In Gamla Uppsala Museum you'll find a coffee corner where we serve hot and cold drinks and bread/icecream.

Requests and bookings can be made by fax or e-mail. Note: All groups with more than 14 persons have to be pre-booked. You have to receive a confirmation of the booking for it to be valid.
